Unlock is an online platform that connects users with job opportunities, housing, and lifestyle-enhancing services, with a focus on Dubai and the GCC region. We provide AI-powered tools and human support to ease relocation and enhance well-being.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or signing in to Unlock, you agree that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
• You consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Account Registration

To access certain services, you must create an Unlock account.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate and updated information.
• You may not share or transfer your account without our written consent.

4. Use of the Platform

• Permitted Use: Unlock is intended for legal and legitimate use in seeking jobs, housing, and relocation guidance.
• User Content: You are responsible for all content submitted. You must not upload:
  • Inappropriate, illegal, or copyrighted materials without permission.
  • Malicious files or code that may damage the platform.
• Moderation: Unlock reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Use of Data and External Services

• OpenAI: Some AI-based features (e.g., CV improvement, job matching) rely on OpenAI API services. Anonymized user data may be sent to their systems for processing.
• Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to monitor user behavior for platform improvement, in compliance with GDPR.
• Firmz Collaboration: User data will only be shared with our partner Firmz (Firm Zone Businessmen Services L.L.C.) if the user explicitly requests their services (e.g., visa, company setup).
• Data Usage: Unlock uses personal data to improve AI matching and offer better job or housing suggestions.

6. Fees and Subscriptions

• Unlock offers both free and premium plans. Paid plans may include enhanced AI features or visibility.
• All payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
• You may cancel subscriptions anytime via your profile settings. Cancellation does not include reimbursement for remaining time.

7. Intellectual Property

• All platform content, code, design, and trademarks are property of Unlock.
• You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.

8. Limitations of Liability

• Unlock cannot guarantee outcomes such as job placement or accommodation success.
• We are not responsible for third-party interactions (e.g., recruiters, property owners).
• Platform availability may be subject to interruptions or errors, for which we do not assume liability.

9. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy and Cookie Policy, which explains how data is handled under GDPR.

10. Modifications

Unlock may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the platform and take effect immediately. Continued use implies acceptance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations. You may also close your account by emailing [email protected].

12. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. All disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai.
